Pictures of the Subway of Montreal 9/23/05
See the subway of Montreal through the eyes of the talented photographer,
Julien Rosselet. The subject matter is a fascinating photo essay of forms, lines
and colors found in all of Montreal's 65 subway stations. The stations are quite
impressive and as Julien puts it, some "look like they popped out of a sci-fi
movie." Navigation is a breeze using the subway image map and pull down menus.

Virtual Rail 9/19/05
No room for a model railroad? No problem. Welcome to the world of virtual
railroading. Virtual Rail offers downloads, reviews, FAQs and tutorials for
the ever popular Microsoft Train Simulator and Boso View Express,
a freeware product. The website is based in the UK and concentrates only on trains
and routes in that country, but there's enough here to interest any virtual
railroader.

7-8ths.info 8/29/05
An exceptionally well designed and entertaining website on model railroading where
7/8ths of an inch equals a foot. Since commercial items in that scale are scarce,
practically everything must be scratchbuilt. The site is filled with photo galleries,
"how to" projects, tips and construction plans. Even if you don't model in large
scale, you should pay this worthwhile site a visit.

Waldovia State Railways 7/20/05
This website documents the construction of a multilevel model railway that
"resists being modeled on a fixed period or location." It is based on a fictional
railway in the fictional country of Waldovia in Eastern Europe. Check this out -
rather than a helix, this model railway uses a homemade electric elevator to move a
train from one level to the other!

Garden State Model Railway Club, Inc. 3/1/05
The GSMRRC site has a little something for everyone interested in Northeastern US
railroading. For those interested in model railroading, there is a virtual
tour section where you can travel the club's extensive layout via photographs.
There are club trip photos to interest the railfan and for the historian there is
a history section with some very interesting "then and now" photos. Enjoy!

Nashua City Station 1/17/05
This site claims to be the ultimate guide for railfans and historians of both
railroads and electric railways around the Nashua/Manchester region of New
Hampshire. From what I can tell this is not an empty boast. It presents past
and present railroading in brief descriptions stuffed with exceptional photographs.
The site also hosts a model railroad section as well as its own awards program.

CHORINA 1/8/05
In the process of researching his family roots, the webmaster decided to combine his
two hobbies, genealogy and railroading, into what you see here on his website.
A lot of effort into charting the Corporate History Of
Railroads In North America and Canada in a family tree
type of format. In time, he hopes to cover the entire North American railroad
infrastructure.
